Breast Augmentation
This 30-year old woman came to the office of Dr. David Sayah because she was dissatisfied with her small breasts. The patient had size A breasts and wanted to increase her size to about a C cup through breast augmentation.
During her consultation with Dr. Sayah, the patient explained that she had been considering breast augmentation for years but worried about the type of scaring that surgery might leave. Dr. Sayah discussed the three different options for incision; transaxillary incisions are made under the armpit, periariolar incisions are made around the nipple, and inframammary incisions are made under the fold of the breast. He explained that each incision is done endoscopically to ensure no scaring. After consulting with the doctor the patient chose to have her 325cc smooth round silicone implants inserted through incisions made around her nipples and placed under the breast muscle.
The patient’s after photo was taken about 5 months after surgery and as you can see the scars are virtually invisible and should continue to fade over time. She is very happy with the results of her surgery.
