Best Surgery, Amazing Price

Our silicone gel breast implants are soft, offering a more natural feel and appearance to the breasts compared to breast implants filled with saline or a medical-grade saltwater solution. A silicone implant uses pre-filled silicone gel, which is softer, thicker, and more cohesive than in previous generations. The consistency of the fill makes the cohesive gel implant natural to feel, helping it maintain its natural shape, thus making them appealing to women seeking breast augmentation.*

Moreover, there is a very low risk of leaking or rippling of the modern silicone gel implant. Our implants are available in different sizes, heights, and projections so that they can be customized to your body shape and enhancement goals.*

Breast Augmentation with Silicone Implants

The FDA approved the latest generation of silicone gel-filled implants for breast augmentation and reconstruction in November 2006. Also known as cohesive gel implants, silicone-filled implants have the advantage of longevity and shape. They resist developing folds in the implant shell, which is a primary cause of failure of other implant types. If the shell does fail, the thick gel will continue to retain its position where it has been implanted.

Our breast augmentation with silicone breast implants is only available for women who are at least 22 years old. Silicone implants may also be used for breast reconstruction to replace breast tissue damaged due to trauma or cancer or that has not developed properly as a result of a severe breast abnormality.

  • Women prefer breast augmentation with silicone breast implants for:
  • Reconstructive purposes
  • To enhance your body contour if you feel that your breast size is too small
  • To balance breast size to correct a significant difference between the two breasts
  • To correct a loss in breast volume after weight loss or pregnancy
  • To improve results of existing breast implants for reconstructive/cosmetic reasons

Your Procedure

After a consultation in which you will discuss implant size and position, you will be scheduled for surgery. To begin the procedure, our patient receives general anesthesia so that she can sleep comfortably through the operating time. A long-acting, local anesthetic is also administered to the patient to help eliminate discomfort or pain after surgery. The procedure is performed in our ambulatory facility on a specially designed table, allowing the surgeon to ensure that the proper size of breast implant is used when the patient is in an upright position.

The incision site for your implants will be discussed prior to your breast augmentation procedure. The incision location may be in the armpit or the crease around the dark skin surrounding the nipple or in the breast fold to make sure the incision is clean with minimal visible scars.* Silicone gel breast implants come pre-filled, meaning that the incision must be large enough to accommodate the implant.

Carefully working through the incision, the surgeon lifts the breast tissue and stretches the skin enough to create a pocket for the implant. For patients not having enough breast tissue to cover an implant, the surgeon may use tissue expanders, which are gradually filled with sterile saline solution. As a result of the device expansion, the breast skin and tissue stretch to create a pocket or space for the implant. The tissue expander is then carefully taken out and the silicone gel-filled implant is safely placed. After proper implant placement, the surgeon closes the incisions with stitches, which may be taped for better support.

After Your Procedure

Our breast augmentation patients are generally sent home a few hours after their surgery to begin recovery. We advise rest for at least two days at home for patients having undergone breast augmentation.

Practicing some caution while taking a bath, driving, and working out can help speed up your recovery. When you shower, carefully wash your stitch line using a mild soap. Gently apply mild antibiotic ointment, such as Polysporin or Bacitracin at the incision site. Try to avoid driving if you are taking strong pain relief medications, especially those containing morphine derivatives.

Most swelling from the procedure is gone within about two weeks and at this point, most of our patients feel confident about their new breast shape. Swelling should continue to dissipate for several more months and the breasts will settle into their new, naturally augmented shape. To further improve the outcome and soften your breasts, massaging them can have favorable effects. Our team will instruct you on the breast implant massage typically 2 weeks after your surgery.
